Elementary Education
The Elementary Education Program helps students become inspiring and collaborative teaching professionals who are committed to the academic and personal success of all students. Students gain hands-on experience with children learning to read and write in the University Reading Center and are well prepared to teach in academically and culturally diverse classrooms. Graduates of the Elementary Education Program have been hired in leadership roles by school districts due to knowledge and skills of literacy and poverty.
