Special Education
The Special Education Program offers cross-categorical, K-12 certification enabling students to have the opportunity for varied employment after graduation. The program includes extensive, field-based, hands-on learning in local schools, in foundational courses, and through clinical and practicum experiences prior to full-time teaching. Special financial aid and scholarships are often available to students interested in pursuing Special Educations because of the high need for special educators in our schools.
