Early Exploratory Internship Program

Though many students intern in their third and fourth years of college, Quincy's Early Exploratory Internship Program is a unique opportunity for first- and second-year students who are Illinois residents and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0. The program offers students the chance to explore off-campus business and technical options related to their academic fields through a maximum of 15 hours per week paid employment. A faculty advisor coordinates the program, which operates through a combination of state grant funds from the Illinois Cooperative Work Study Program of the Board of Education and the cooperation of participating businesses and agencies.
