Early Exploratory Internship Program

Though many students intern in their third and fourth years of college, Quincy's Early Exploratory Internship Program is a unique opportunity for first- and second-year students who are Illinois residents and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0. The program offers students the chance to explore off-campus business and technical options related to their academic fields through a maximum of 15 hours per week paid employment. A faculty advisor coordinates the program, which operates through a combination of state grant funds from the Illinois Cooperative Work Study Program of the Board of Education and the cooperation of participating businesses and agencies. For more information about this program, contact Dr. John Schleppenbach, Professor of Communication, at 217-228-5432 ext. 3156 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
