Quincy University's Communication and Music Production program is designed to combine and develop a variety of skills and competencies in the fields of communication and music production.
You will experience extensive hands-on training with audio/video and music software, as well as applied music training and music ensemble performance experience. In addition, as in other professional communication degrees, you will have specific objectives in writing, oral communication, scholarly research, and the psychological, social, and political environment of verbal and non-verbal communication.
Your professors, many of whom have professional experience in the field, take a fresh, alternative approach to understanding and addressing the challenges of a rapidly advancing technological world. Ultimately, you will gain expertise in recording studio production, music performance and composition, film and video production, radio and television production, field recording production, and other areas of the music business.
The program offers a bachelor of arts degree in Communication and Music Production.
