Meal Plans
Quincy University has worked with students to create meal plan options that provide both flexibility and help with budgeting meal availability over the semester.  There are a couple of facets of the meal plans you should be familiar with:

Guaranteed Meals- Each meal plan has a designated amount of guaranteed meals per week.  This means that no matter what the week of the semester, whether it's the first week or the last, you will have a certain number of guaranteed meals for that week.  Your guaranteed meals get used first each week because they do not roll over from one week to the next.

Block Meals- Block meals are meals that you can use whenever you want to throughout the course of the semester.  Each meal plan has a certain number of block meals to use as you wish!  Block meals don't expire until the end of the semester.  So, if you don't eat as much one week but eat more the next, you can make up the difference in meals using block meals.

Flex Dollars- The meal plans mentioned below come with flex dollars.  They can be used like cash in the Hawks' Hangout and Cafe.

Other things to be aware of when selecting a meal plan:

  • All students living in Helein, Garner, Padua, Friars, and Willer must be on a meal plan
  • First Year Students can only select either the Tower or Hawk Plan
  • The Gold Plan is only available to seniors, commuter students, or students living in the SLC or Houses
  • Students living in the SLC or Houses automatically recieve $350 in flex dollars as part of the cost of their housing
  • Commuter students can select any meal plan
