mooreIn 1994, while serving on the St. Louis Sports Commission, Linda Moore capitalized on an opportunity to join the Olympic movement which eventually took her to the 1996 Olympic Games.  She facilitated Olympic Festival events in both St. Louis and Denver prior to the Atlanta Games before moving to San Diego and landing her dream job with ESPN.   As Assistant Director of Sports and Competitions, Moore worked actively with the rise of the X Games action sports brand.

She has since switched coasts and worked her way to Senior Director of Franchise Development for ESPN—specifically the Global X Games franchise.  She has a hand in virtually everything involving the X Games brand including all degrees of publishing, gaming, and event production.  She is currently working on new events in Chile, Argentina, Canada and China in addition to producing a festival platform catered for markets worldwide.

In addition to a Master’s in Sports Management and Doctorate in Business Administration, Moore graduated from the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute; the most prestigious leadership development program in the cable industry.  In its fifteen year history, only 500 women have completed the program.
