Entering his 11th year as a special education professional, Quincy University alum Dr. Otis C. Taylor ’99 currently serves as the principal (or self-described “head learner”) of the Buckingham Special Education Center on the southeast side of Chicago.

Eric Thomas ‘95 began his professional career just a week after graduation as an accountant with Adams Telephone. In 1997 (while still with Adams Telephone), Thomas created ETC Computer Solutions; an independently-ran company specializing in website creation and computer repair.
Since beginning her professional career as director of Garner Hall and Quincy University’s assistant director of campus activities in 1993, Ann Comerford ’91 has established herself as one of Illinois’ most respected higher education professionals.
After earning her bachelor of science degree from QU in 1999, Jill Wirth went on to medical school at SIU-Springfield, ultimately earning her M.D. in 2005. The years to follow included residency training in family medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria as well as a one year sports medicine fellowship at SIU-Quincy.
Since a very young age Debbie always loved music. This led her to becoming a flutist/pianist in the QU Symphonic Band and Jazz Ensemble. Upon graduation in 1995, Debbie landed her first professional teaching position as the junior and senior high instrumental and vocal music instructor for the Hamilton school district in Hamilton, Illinois. Debbie directed the marching, symphonic and jazz bands in both schools as well as the concert and show choirs for Hamilton High School.
