QU Welcomes New School of Business Dean

John Glasgow, D. Mgt.Quincy University announces the hiring of John Glasgow, D. Mgt., as the new dean of the School of Business. Dr. Glasgow will oversee the school and maintain the university's high standards in both the undergraduate and graduate programs.

"Dr. Glasgow brings impressive experience from the corporate world, as well as in higher education," said Robert Gervasi, Ph.D., president of Quincy University. "He will help expand QU's academic programs to serve more students and strengthen our outreach to the local business community."

Before coming to QU, Glasgow was the dean of the School of Business at American InterContinental University where he oversaw all undergraduate and graduate programs. While at AIU, Glasgow helped secure American Council of Business School and Programs (ACBSP) accreditation.

Glasgow graduated from Quincy College in 1976 with a degree in fine arts. He went on to earn a master's degree in business administration in 1995 and a doctorate in 2001 from Webster University in St. Louis, Mo.
