Quincy University Introduces New Online Graduate Programs

on .

Beginning in February 2013, Quincy University will offer prospective students the opportunity to earn a master's degree online. The online graduate degree programs will give a greater number of adult learners the ability to obtain a high-quality master's degree, while recognizing their need for flexible schedules.

The first program to launch will be the Masters of Business Administration (MBA). The University consulted with area business leaders in developing the program's focus and delivery model. The new MBA offers two new tracks, Organizational Leadership and Operations Management, as well as a general curriculum. MBA courses will be offered online and on campus.

"The new MBA program was developed to meet the demanding needs of area businesses," said Robert Gervasi, PhD, President of Quincy University. "The new programs will fulfill that need in a format that is flexible enough to accommodate the student's current work and family schedule."

"We understand the demands of family and professional commitments. Our online graduate degree programs are a solution to help adult students balance their lives, while offering a pathway to greater knowledge and career advancement," said George H. Hoemann, PhD, QU's Director of Online and Nontraditional Programs.

Other online programs coming in 2013 include the Master of Arts in Communication, the Master of Arts in Writing, and Master of Religious Education. Applications are now being accepted for the Master of Business Administration, with classes beginning in February 2013. The other degree programs will begin accepting applications shortly with start dates in summer and fall 2013.
