QU Theatre to Celebrate Black History Month

The Quincy University Theatre Department will perform "The Journey" on February 21, and 22, at 7:00 P.M., and February 23 and 24 at 2:00 P.M. in MacHugh Theatre (located in the lower level of Francis Hall at 1800 College Avenue). Tickets for the play are $5 for adults and $3 for students and children.

Directed by Connie Phillips, a lecturer in QU's theatre department, "The Journey" celebrates Black History Month by featuring stories of prominent figures in African-American history. The evening will also feature performances by the Voices of Praise Choir, the Praise and Worship Dance Team, and G-U-I-Dance.
