Quincy University announced two new master’s degree programs for Illinois licensed teachers. Both degree programs will be available starting in June 2014. The degrees and descriptions are listed below:
- MSE in Curriculum and Instruction that leads to Bilingual and/or English as a Second Language Endorsement
This degree is offered entirely online and is designed for licensed teachers to further develop their instructional and assessment strategies for students whose native language is not English.
- MSE Teacher Leader
This degree is designed for licensed teachers with at least two years of successful teaching experience to further develop their skills to obtain a leadership role in education other than principal. The degree is offered in a blended format with both online and on campus classes. The degree consists of 33 credit hours with emphases on adult learning, professional development, action research, and leadership.
