School of Education Hosts Tea for Teachers Event

TeaThe Quincy University School of Education hosted a "Tea for Teachers" on Thursday, May 3, in the QU Hall of Fame Room. Student teachers and their cooperating teachers were recognized at this event. As part of the celebration, awards were given to outstanding graduating students in the following areas:
• Excellence in Special Education: Amanda T. Wollbrink from Quincy, IL
• Excellence in Master of Education: Heather A. Stafford from Quincy, IL
• Excellence in Elementary Education: Mary M. Miller from Paloma, IL
• Crim Campbell Award: Deborah L. Barton from Nebo, IL
• Dr. Gary J. Carter Integrity in Education Award: Megan L. Wingenbach from St. Louis, MO
• Dr. George C. Meyer Servant Leadership in Education Award: Jennifer M. Terstegge from Quincy, IL
• Marian & Dorothy Reinhart Excellence in Education Award: Brooke R. Wiemelt from Liberty, IL
