Graduate Assistant Coach - Women’s Volleyball
Quincy University seeks applications for the Graduate Assistant Coach position with the women’s volleyball program. This communicative, organized, motivated, and positive person will directly assist the head coach in all aspects of a competitive NCAA DII women’s volleyball program. Job tasks will include on-court instruction, match administration, game-day marketing and promotions programing, recruiting, fundraising, community outreach, video/statistical analysis, and other duties assigned by the head coach. This applicant could start as early as June enrollment for graduate degree courses, but is expected to begin no later than August 1st.

Compensation:
This position includes:
1. Full Tuition – tuition and most fees for graduate degree courses (some courses vary)
2. Free Housing – university owned house on/near campus (roommates with another athletics GA)
3. Free Meals – use of a meal-plan within university dining facilities
4. Additional Income Opportunities – camps/clinics/fundraising/private lessons

Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree is required. The candidate must be accepted into Quincy University’s Graduate School upon their own merit and application before an official job offer can be extended. Candidates are preferred to have played collegiate volleyball and have some form of prior coaching experience. This applicant should have a basic understanding of NCAA regulations, as they will be required to take the NCAA Compliance Exam after their appointment. Successful candidates will have consented to, and must successfully complete, a criminal background check.

Vice President for Admissions and Financial Aid

Quincy University seeks an effective strategist and inspiring leader to enhance the quality and quantity of new student enrollment. The Vice President for Admissions and Financial Aid oversees the Admissions and Financial Aid staff and collaborates with other offices in planning and executing the University's undergraduate and graduate recruiting efforts. Using data-driven market analysis, the VP will formulate an aggressive recruiting strategy for freshmen, transfer, graduate and international students, as well as improving net tuition revenue. The new VP will oversee strategies for outreach to secondary and post-secondary teachers and counselors, innovative on-campus and off-campus visit programming, and effective engagement with prospective students and families. The VP reports to the President and is an integral member of the Executive Team.

Desired Qualifications:
Successful experience in college enrollment with direct knowledge in all areas of recruitment, territory management, marketing and financial aid
Ability to attract, mentor and inspire talented staff.
Combined ability to be highly engaging with people as well as savvy in using data for enrollment management.
Sensitivity to demographic and market trends to inform academic program development and recruitment initiatives.
Educated in financial aid leveraging, predictive modeling, net tuition revenue and pricing forecasts.
Understanding of the role of intercollegiate athletics for enrollment management at a NCAA Division II institution
Demonstrated ability to work with a dedicated and engaged board of trustees.
Superb oral and written communication skills, both one-on-one and in groups.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Transferable skills and experience from industries outside higher education will be considered.

Responsibilities include overall administration and operation of Quincy University's residential living and standards programs. Serves as a collaborative leader within the University community, helping to facilitate effective partnerships to ensure students a vibrant learning environment; manages and supervises the overall operations of a broad range of university-owned housing facilities; addresses all aspects of the living environment for on-campus residents, ensuring living facilities are clean, attractive, well-maintained, comfortable, and include safety and health features maintained by systematic operations. Oversee the adjudication of community standards violations in collaboration with other Student Affairs team members and campus judicial boards.

This is a full time 12 month live on position. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in education, counseling or similar subject preferred. 3-4 years of experience in a higher education setting required.

Assistant Professor of English

Quincy University, a Catholic liberal arts university in the Franciscan tradition, seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of English position, beginning August14, 2015.  Responsibilities include teaching first-year writing courses, survey courses in candidate’s area of specialization, and upper division courses. Background in American Literature with interest in creative writing preferred.  Other duties include academic advising and school and university service.  The teaching load is four courses each semester.

Minimum qualifications: terminal degree; Preferred qualifications:  successful college-level teaching experience.  The successful candidate will be an energetic teacher, an active scholar, and a dependable colleague who will participate enthusiastically in an ambitious schedule of undergraduate programs and activities, including a reading and lecture series, a literary journal, and a various student activities.
