Since 2003, Campus Ministry has sponsored students and staff on mission trips to Haiti in conjunction with the University's Haiti Connection program. The goals of Haiti Connection are:
- to develop and continue relationships with communities in Haiti
- to educate both the QU Campus and broader community about the Haitian people; their country, culture, conditions under which they live, and their needs
- to engage in fundraising to support ongoing projects in Haitian communities
The Haiti Connection invites students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of Quincy University interested in Haiti and outreach to the third world to join us in achieving our goals. The group regularly meets on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. in the Student Center.
