
QUINCY UNIVERSITY CHOIRS TO PRESENT CHORAL FESTIVAL CONCERT
Quincy University’s Music Department will host the QU Choral Festival on March 24 at the Connie Niemann Center for Music at QU’s North Campus, 17th & Seminary Road.
Area high school and middle school choirs will join the QU Choirs for a day of rehearsal including a tour of North Campus.
The Choral Festival will end with a concert at 5 p.m. in the Connie Niemann Center for Music featuring QU Brass, QU Choirs and the QU Festival Chorus, conducted by Dr. Jonathan Stewart, QU associate professor of voice/director of choral activities.
The Choral Festival will include a Bring Your Own Lunch Recital performed by Jonathan Stewart. This informal concert will include selections in various languages and historic time periods and end with pieces from the Broadway musicals, “Kismet” and “Man of La Mancha.”
