QUINCY UNIVERSITY TO HOST 8TH ANNUAL HOMECOMING BALLOON GLOW
Quincy University will once again light up Friars’ Field (20th and College) with ten hot air balloons on September 28. This free, family-friendly event will start at 5:00 p.m. The balloons will light up from 7:15 – 8:30 p.m., weather permitting.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase from 5:00 – 8:30 p.m. from various vendors including TCBY, 8te Open, Tasty J’s, Melton’s Concessions, Wine on Broadway, Hebrews XI Coffee, Lemonade Factory, The Pizza Wagon, Tri-State SnoBiz, Sugarbug Cotton Candy, Platt Daddy BBQ, and Smoothie King.
On September 29 at daybreak, the balloons will take off from Friars’ Field, weather permitting.
Quincy Recycle is this year’s major event sponsor.
