QU TO HOST PRESIDENT’S LEADERSHIP BREAKFAST FEATURING TERESA KETTELKAMP
Quincy University welcomes alumna Teresa Kettelkamp ‘74 as the featured speaker at the President’s Leadership Breakfast hosted by Dr. Brian McGee, QU president. The event will take place from 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 25 in the QU Cafeteria, 18th & Lind.
Kettelkamp was the first female to attain the rank of Colonel with the Illinois State Police (ISP). After retiring from the ISP, she worked with a group conducting compliance audits of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ (USCCB) Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. This led to her appointment as the USCCB’s Executive Director of the Secretariat of Child and Youth Protection. Kettelkamp is currently an appointed member of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors, created by Pope Francis, which meets twice a year in Rome.
The President’s Leadership Breakfast Series is a regular campus event where community leaders share their knowledge on different topics. While enjoying a buffet-style breakfast, local business professionals and government officials join QU faculty, staff, and students to network and converse with each other. Each breakfast features a guest speaker that will share about their organization or cause and how they have demonstrated leadership.
All members of the community are welcome to attend. Please RSVP to advancement@quincy.edu or 217-228-5227.
